mister g’s backgammon online

My cellphone (a Nokia 6610i) only has two games in it. One is Water Rapids and the other is Backgammon. I never really did get the hang of both games but whenever boredom strikes, it’s usually just me and my cellphone.

Water Rapids is a no-brainer, a kid could do it. But Backgammon? Now that’s another story. You see, it’s complicated. I actually had to access the net to understand the whole game about. Incidentally, I ended up to an internet backgammon site where the game is actually on a silver platter ready to be explored.

The site is a proof of how wonderful technology really is. I mean it’s a Backgammon Fanatic’s heaven! They’ve got downloadable games (backgammon of course) and online tournaments (backgammon still). It’s where you can play free backgammon for fun or you can play and earn backgammon money (which is also fun).

You wouldn’t believe how many people are actually in to the game considering the fact that it’s an ancient board game dating back centuries ago. Just like chess and go, it requires skill and a little bit of luck. No, I’m not really good at it. The cellphone always beats me in every game (even at the easy stage) but it’s actually fun.

The game is actually a stress reliever for me. It practices the mind and helps it concentrate. Why not try it? Have fun, play backgammon.
